Bangya Privacy Policy

This Bangya Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines the personal information that Bangya, (“Bangya”, “we”, “us” or “our”) gathers, how we use that personal information, and the options you have to access, correct, or delete such personal information.

BANGYA’S PROMISE

Bangya will only collect the bare-minimum amount of data needed to perform the modules a Server or User has explicitly opted into. We keep your personal information personal and private. We will not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We will not share or otherwise disclose your personal information except as necessary to provide our Services or as otherwise described in this Policy without first providing you with notice and the opportunity to consent.

1. POLICY APPLICATION

This Policy applies to Bangya’s collection, use, and disclosure of the personal information of the following categories of data subjects:

Server Admins: Those with access to configure Bangya at a Server-level.

Users: Any person who is a member of a Discord server that uses Bangya.

Servers: Any Discord Guild where Bangya is a member.

Bangya may collect and store the quantity of messages sent, deleted, and any pertaining statistical information. Bangya may collect a message's content only when explicitly required by a module. Message's content will ONLY be stored when explicitly configuring a module.

3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Bangya's only processes personal information in a way that is compatible with and relevant to the purpose for which it was collected or authorized. Provide, operate, maintain, and improve Services for all users of the Services;

4. DATA AGGREGATION

Bangya may aggregate data we acquire about our Users, Server Admins, and Servers. For example, we may assemble data to show the highest scores across all Servers that use Bangya.

5. DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS AND CHOICES (ALL USERS, INCLUDING EU & UK)

Bangya recognizes individuals’ data protection rights. You have the right to access, correct, update, port, or delete your personal information, and to restrict or object to the processing of your personal information (each of these a “Rights Request”). You may post in the Bot Discord ("https://discord.gg/Npc5MZrN25") with any Rights Request, and we will respond within thirty (30) days. Users and Server Admins also can access, correct, export, or update their information by request.

For any Rights Request, we will need to verify a requestor is inquiring about their own information before we can assist. Please contact us directly from the Discord User account with your Rights Request.

6. DATA SECURITY, DATA INTEGRITY AND ACCESS

We take all reasonable steps to protect information we receive from you from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, and unauthorized disclosure or access. We have put in place appropriate physical, technical and administrative measures to safeguard and secure your information, and we make use of privacy-enhancing technologies such as encryption.

7. NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES

If we make changes to this Policy that we believe materially impact the privacy of your personal information, we will promptly provide notice of any such changes (and, where necessary, obtain consent), as well as post the updated Policy on this website noting the effective date of any changes.
